The central government on Thursday (01.08.2024) promoted three officers to the grade of Chief Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes in the Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Indirect Taxes) against the panel year 2024. One of these promotions was made on an ad-hoc basis.
They are;
- Jagreeti Sen Negi (IRS-C&IT:1991)
- Dr. Nirmal Kumar Soren (IRS-C&IT:1991)
- Abhai Kumar Srivastava (IRS-C&IT:1991) (on ad-hoc basis)
Their regular posting will be decided in due course of time with the approval of the Competent Authority. Till then, they shall assume the charge of the promotional post on in situ basis.
