The deputation tenure of Ashish Batra (IPS:1997:JH) as Inspector General (IG) in National Investigation Agency (NIA), has been extended for two years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (18.06.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Ministry of Home Affairs to extend the deputation tenure of Ashish Batra for two years beyond 15.09.2024.
