MP: 4 Collectors among 37 IAS officers shifted

The Madhya Pradesh government on Thursday (14.03.2024) executed a significant restructuring in the state's bureaucratic framework. According to an order issued by the General Administration Department, 37 IAS officers have been reassigned to different roles, including the appointment of new Collectors in four districts.

The Madhya Pradesh government on Thursday (14.03.2024) executed a significant restructuring in the state’s bureaucratic framework. According to an order issued by the General Administration Department, 37 IAS officers have been reassigned to different roles, including the appointment of new Collectors in four districts.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

  1. Sanjay Kumar Shukla (IAS:1994:MP), Principal Secretary to Governor, Bhopal, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Women & Child Development Department with additional charge of Principal Secretary, Planning, Economic & Statistics Department.
  2. Mukesh Chandra Gupta (IAS:1998:MP), Principal Secretary, Planning, Economic & Statistics Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to Governor.
  3. Vivek Kumar Porwal (IAS:2000:MP), OSD-cum-Principal Revenue Commissioner, Bhopal and Ex-officio Principal Secretary, Revenue Department with additional charge of Commissioner, Land Records & Settlement, Gwalior.
  4. Dr. Navneet Mohan Kothari (IAS:2001:MP), Secretary, Fishermen’s Welfare and Fisheries Development Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, MP MSME and Commissioner, Industries, MD, Small Industries Corporation with additional charge of Secretary, Fishermen’s Welfare and Fisheries Development Department.
