ACC nods to extended upgradation for key administrative roles

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Tuesday (20.02.2024) granted approval for the extension in the temporary upgradation of the following positions:

1. Archana Agrawal (IAS:1990:UP), presently holding the position of Member Secretary, National Capital Region Planning Board, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, will continue in the upgraded role from the level of Additional Secretary to that of Secretary until 01.05.2025.
2. Ashutosh Jindal (IAS:1995:TR), presently serving as Joint Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat, will retain the upgradation of his post to the level of Additional Secretary for a term extending until 16.08.2024.
3. Chandra Bhushan Kumar (IAS:1995:TR), currently holding the post of Joint Secretary in the Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation, and also serving as Additional Secretary & Mission Director, Jal Jeevan Mission, will continue in the upgraded position to the level of Additional Secretary until 22.05.2025.
4. Charanjit Singh (IFoS:1990:MP), who is presently Joint Secretary in the Department of Rural Development, will retain the upgradation of his post to the level of Additional Secretary until 31.12.2024.
