SC Collegium recommends appointment of Advocate Rohit Kapoor as Judge of Punjab and Haryana HC

The Supreme Court Collegium on Thursday (04.01.2024) recommended Advocate Rohit Kapoor for appointment as Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court.

The Collegium comprising Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, Justice Sanjiv Khanna and Justice BR Gavai approved the recommendation made by the High Court collegium in April last year.

It also said as it had earlier approved names of Advocates Harmeet Singh Grewal and Deepinder Singh Nalwa on October 17, the should be given precedence in appointment over advocate Kapoor.
