Jai Prakash Dwivedi has been selected for appointment as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), Western Coalfields Ltd. (WCL) at a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting held on November 03, 2023. Presently, he is serving as Director(Technical), Western Coalfields Ltd..
He will be appointed to the post of CMD after receiving vigilance clearances and approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.
