B Sairam has been selected for appointment as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), Northern Coalfields Ltd. (NCL) at a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting held on November 03, 2023. Presently, he is serving as Director(Technical/P&P), Central Coalfields Ltd.
He will be appointed to the post of CMD after receiving vigilance clearances and approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.
