The Chhattisgarh government has issued posting orders for two IAS officers who had been awaiting their assignments.
Niharika Barik (IAS:1997:CG), who recently returned after a two-year leave, has received her posting. She has been appointed as the Director General of the Thakur Pyarelal State Institute of Panchayat & Rural Development (TPSIPRD) in Nimora, Raipur. This role was previously held by the senior IAS officer and Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) to the Chief Minister, Subrata Sahu (IAS:1992:CG).
In 2021, Niharika took a one-year childcare leave, which she later extended for an additional year while residing in Germany.
Meanwhile, Shruti Singh (IAS:2006:CG) has been posted as the Resident Commissioner at Chhattisgarh Bhawan in New Delhi. She has recently returned from her central deputation.
