UP govt assigns 26 newly promoted PPS officers to IPS roles in current postings

The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday (19.09.2023) appointed 26 Provincial Police Service Cadre (PPS) officers from Uttar Pradesh, who were promoted to the Indian Police Service (IPS) on September 15, to the IPS positions within their current posting areas.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. Pradeep Kumar has been posted as Additional SP, KESKO, Kanpur City.
2. Vipul Kumar Srivastava has been posted as Additional SP, Sultanpuri.
3. Hari Govind has been posted as Additional SP, Police Training Directorate, Lucknow.
4. Pankaj has been posted as Additional SP (Security), Ayodhya.
5. Vidyasagar Mishra has been posted as Additional SP (East), Pratapgarh.
6. Ghanshyam has been posted as Additional SP (Security), Gorakhpur.
7. Anand Kumar has been posted as Additional SP/SO To ADG Zone, Gorakhpur.
8. Rajesh Kumar has been posted as Additional SP, Mainpuri.
9. Ram Suresh has been posted as Deputy Commandant, 27th Battalion PAC, Sitapur.
10. Mohammad Tariq has been posted as Additional SP, ATS, Sitapur.
11. Ravi Shankar Nim has been posted as Additional Commissioner of Police, Police Commissinerate, Prayagraj.
12. Dr. Mahendra Pal Singh has been posted as Additional SP (Cyber Crime), Lucknow.
13. Nidhi Sonkar has been posted as Additional SP, Vigilance, Lucknow.
14. Basant Lal has been posted as Additional Commissioner of Police, Police Commissinerate, Lucknow.
15. Sushil Kumar has been posted as Additional SP, ATS, Lucknow.
16. Devendra Bhushan has been posted as Deputy Commandant, 39th Battalion PAC, Mirzapur.
17. Ashutosh Mishra has been posted as Additional SP (North), Barabanki.
18. Dr. Rajeev Dixit has been posted as Additional Commissioner of Police, Police Commissinerate, Gautam Budha Nagar.
19. Kunwar Gyananjay Singh has been posted as Additional SP (City), Bahraich.
20. Ramnayan Singh has been posted as Additional SP NDMC (Central Deputation), New Delhi.
21. Ashutosh Dwivedi has been posted as Additional SP, Anti Narcotics Task Force, Lucknow.
22. Arun Kumar Singh has been posted as Additional SP (South), Gorakhpur.
23. Dr. Durgesh Kumar has been posted as Additional SP, DGP Office, Lucknow.
24. Vinod Kumar Pandey has been posted as Additional SP (Crime), Etah.
25. Neeraj Kumar Pandey has been posted as Additional Commissioner of Police, Police Commissinerate, Varanasi.
26. Surendra Nath Tiwari has been posted as Additional SP (City), Bulandshahar.
