Paresh Saxena gets two years extension as IG, SSB

The deputation tenure of Paresh Saxena (IPS:1994:BH) as Inspector General (IG) in the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has been extended for a period of two years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (27.06.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Saxena for a period of two years beyond 04.07.2023 i.e. upto 04.07.2025 (total 7 years), in relaxation of IPS Tenure Policy.
