Shilpak N Ambule (IFS:2002) on Sunday (11.06.2023) appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Singapore. Presently, he is serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs and is expected to take up assignment shortly.
He has been in charge of the Ministry of External Affairs’ East Asia Division, which includes China, and is said to be External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar’s main aide.
