The Union government on Monday (06.02.2022) notified the appointment of two Advocates as Additional Judges of the Karnataka High Court. They have been appointed for a period of two years with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.
Their names are ;
- Vijaykumar Adagouda Patil
- Rajesh Rai Kallangalla
The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended the elevation of three Advocates to the high court bench on January 17. However, the government withheld the appointment of Advocate Tajali Moulasab Nadaf.
