Rajasthan: Who will replace DGP ML Lather? DG Mishra is front runner

The Rajasthan power corridor is abuzz with debate over who will take over as Director General of Police of State upon retirement of current chief ML Lather (IPS:1987:RJ). According to sources, DG Intelligence Umesh Mishra (IPS:1989:RJ) may replace Lather as DGP of Rajasthan on Nov 4. However, at the last minute, seniority can also be taken into consideration, and DG Jail Bhupendra Dak (IPS:1989:RJ) can also be appointed as DGP.
