The Bihar government on Thursday (04.08.2022) appointed former IAS officer Atul Prasad (Retd.IAS:1987:BH) as Chairman of the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). He will replace R K Mahajan (IAS:1987:BH), who is set to retire on August 4. According to a notification issued by the General Administration Department, he will take charge on August 5.
Prasad superannuated as Bihar’s Development Commissioner in February 2022.
