Dr. Himanshu Pathak has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Agriculture Research and Education-cum-Director General, Indian Council of Agriculture Research (Secretary, DARE-cum-DG, ICAR).
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (28.07.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Pathak to the post with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post till attaining the age of 60 years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Presently, he is serving as Director, ICAR-National Institute of Abiotic Stress Management, Baramati, Maharashtra.
