Vikram Singh Rana (IRTS:2000) has been appointed to the post of Director in the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Delhi for a period up to May 08, 2024. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (16.06.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Rana to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme from the date of taking over charge of the post and for a period up to 08.05.2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
