Delhi : Naresh Kumar appointed as new Chief Secretary

The Union Home Ministry on Tuesday (19.04.2022) appointed Naresh Kumar (IAS:1987:AGMUT) as new Chief Secretary of Delhi. Kumar is currently serving as the Chief Secretary of Arunachal Pradesh. He will replace Vijay Dev (IAS:1987:AGMUT), who retired on Tuesday.

Dev took voluntary retirement about a year before his superannuation in March 2023 and he is now Joining as the State Election Commissioner of Delhi and Chandigarh on Thursday.
