Mahatme Sandeep Namdeo (IAS:2010:TR) was on Thursday (03.02.2022) given additional charge of the post of Private Secretary to Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister for Communications, Electronics & Information Technology and Railways, in the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Namdeo as Private Secretary for a period upto 09.05.2025 (i.e for a balance period of his four years central deputation) with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or on co-terminus basis with Minister or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister of until further orders, whichever is earliest. Presently, he is Private Secretary, Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister for Communications, Electronics & Information Technology and Railways, in the Ministry of Communications.
