Atul Kumar Thakur (IPS:2008:AGMUT) was on Thursday (28.10.2021) inducted as Superintendent of Police (SP) in Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a period of four years. According to an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), he has been inducted in CBI on deputation basis for a period of four years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Presently, he is serving in the cadre as DCP, HQ-1, Delhi Police.
