Assam : Six senior IAS officers shifted

The Assam government on Tuesday issued transfer posting orders of six Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers in the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Ravi Shankar Prasad (IAS:1990:AM), Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture Department with additional charges of Additional Chief Secretary, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary and Fisheries Departments and Agriculture Production Commissioner, Assam and CEO, MMS-CMSGUY.
2. Rajesh Prasad (IAS:1995:AM), Principal Secretary, Transport, Irrigation and Soil Conservation Departments.
3. Dr. Krishna Kumar Dwivedi (IAS:1996:AM), Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce, Act East Policy Affairs, Transport, Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship and Mines & Minerals Departments and MD, Assam Hydro Carbon & Energy Company Ltd. is relieved from the additional charge of Principal Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Transport Department.
4. Mukesh Ch. Sahu (IAS:1996:AM), Principal Secretary, Social Welfare, Soil Conservation and WPT & BC Departments and CEO, SITA, CEO, SLNA, WDC-PMKSY is relieved from the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Soil Conservation Department.
5. Shantanu P. Gotmare (IAS:2004:AM), Principal Secretary, Bodoland Territorial Region.
6. Anant Lal Gyani (IAS:2011:AM), Principal Secretary, Bodoland Territorial Region is relieved from the charge of Principal Secretary, Bodoland Territorial Region and will continue as Secretary, Bodoland Territorial Region.
