Amitabh Ranjan appointed as DGP of Tripura

Amitabh Ranjan (IPS:1988:TR) has been appointed as new Director General of Tripura Police replacing Akhil Kumar Shukla (IPS:1986:TR), who retired from service of Friday. He is currently posted as Additional Director of Intelligence Bureau under the Union Home Ministry.
