The Union government on Monday appointed Abhishek Singh (IAS:1995:NL) as Persident and CEO of National e-Governance Division (NeGD). Prior to this, he was the CEO of MyGov India.
NeGD was set up in 2009 by the ministry of electronics & information technology (Meity) as an independent business division under the Digital India Corporation to spreadhead the programme management and implementation of e-governance projects across the country.
