9 Judicial Members, 6 Technical Members appointed to NCLT

The central government approved the appointment of 9 Judicial Members and 6 Technical Members in the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT).

As per a notification issued on Saturday (05.11.2022), the following former judges and lawyers have been appointed as Judicial Members:

1. T Krishna Valli, Retd. Judge, Madras High Court.
2. Vikas Kumar Srivastav, Retd. Judge, Allahabad High Court.
3. Kuldeep Kumar Kareer, Retd. District Judge, Punjab.
4. Vishesh Sharma, Retd. District Judge, Gautam Budh Nagar.
5. Ashok Kumar Bhardwaj, Advocate.
6. Praveen Gupta, Advocate.
7. Mahendra Khandelwal, Senior Government Advocate, Department of Legal Affairs.
8. Bidisha Banerjee, Judicial Member, CAT.
9. Sanjiv Jain, District Court Judge in Commercial Court, Delhi Higher Judicial Services.

Further, the following have been appointed as Technical Members:

1. Prabhat Kumar, Chartered Accountant.
2. Charan Singh, Former ED, UCO Bank.
3. Anu Jagmohan Singh, Former Member, CBDT.
4. Ashish Verma, Retired Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax.
5. Atul Chaturvedi, Former IAS officer and Former Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying.
6. Madhu Sinha, Former Director and Head of AML Compliance in Citi Bank India
