Senior diplomat Yogeshwar Sangwan (IFS: 1994) has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. Presently, he is serving as Ambassador of India to the Republic of Paraguay and is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
In a statement, the MEA said,” Shri Yogeshwar Sangwan (IFS: 1994), presently Ambassador of India to the Republic of Paraguay, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.”
“He is expected to take up the assignment shortly,” the statement added.
