The West Bengal government recently made a minor yet significant change in the state’s bureaucracy by issuing reshuffling orders for two senior IAS officers.
The names of the officers and their posting orders are as follows;
- Dr. Subrata Gupta (IAS:1990:WB), Additional Chief Secretary, Science & Technology and Bio-Technology Department, has been given additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, North Bengal Development Department.
- Manish Jain (IAS:1994:WB), Principal Secretary, North Bengal Development Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Irrigation and Waterways Department with additional charges of Principal Secretary, Water Resource Investigation & Development Department and Project Director, ADMI Project.
