West Bengal : Six IAS officers transferred

The West Bengal government on Thursday issued transfer and posting ordres of six IAS officers in the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. Alapan Bandyopadhyay (IAS:1987:WB) : ACS, Home and Hill Affairs Department with additional charge of Parliamentary Affairs Department will also hold the charge of Information and cultural Affairs Department.
2. Vivek Kumar (IAS:1990:WB) : Pricipal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department.
3. Devi Prasad Karanam (IAS:2008:WB) : Executive Director, WBIDC with additional charge of Managing Director, Biswa Bangla Marketing Corporation Ltd.
4. Khalid Aizaz Anwar (IAS:2009:WB) : Commissioner, Commercial Taxes.
5. S. Uma Sankar (IAS:2011:WB) : Excise Commissioner with additional charge of MD, WB State Beverages Corporation.
6. S. Arun Prasad (IAS:2011:WB) : DM, Bankura.
