West Bengal : Major reshuffle in IAS cadre, 7 DMs changed

In a major reshuffle in the IAS cadre in Bengal, district magistrates (DM) of seven districts have been changed on Monday.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Vivek Kumar (IAS:1990:WB) : Principal Secretary, Environment Department with additional charge of Chairman, West Bengal Valuation Board.
2. Dr. A Subbiah (IAS:1992:WB) : Principal Secretary, Backward Classes Welfare Department with additional charge of Commissioner, Medinipore Division and Managing Director WBECSC.
3. Vandana Yadav (IAS:1998:WB) : Secretary, Industry, Commrece and Enterprises Department with additional charge of Secretary, PE and IR Department and Managing Director WBIDC Ltd.
4. Pritha Sarkar (IAS:2002:WB) : Commissioner, Presidency Division.
5. Vijay Bharti (IAS:2005:WB) : District Magistrate, Birbhum.
6. Ms. Moumita Godara Basu (IAS:2007:WB) : District Magistrate, Jalpaiguri.
