The West Bengal government on Monday (24.06.2024) issued transfer and posting orders for five IAS officers.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;
- Vivek Kumar (IAS:1990:WB), Additional Chief Secretary, Forest Department with additional charges of Additional Chief Secretary, Animal Resources Development Department and OSD, Biswa Bangla Corporation in the office of the Resident Commissioner, New Delhi, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Land & Land Reforms and Refugee Relief & Rehabilitation Department and LRC with additional charges of Additional Secretary, Animal Resources Development Department and OSD, Biswa Bangla Corporation in the office of the Resident Commissioner, New Delhi.
- Manoj Kumar Agarwal (IAS:1990:WB), Additional Chief Secretary, Fire and Emergency Services Department, has been given the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Forest Department.
- Dr. Krishna Gupta (IAS:1991:WB), Additional Chief Secretary, Mass Education Extension and Library Services Department with additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Co-operation Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Co-operation Department.
- Binod Kumar (IAS:1996:WB), Additional Chief Electoral Officer, West Bengal, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Municipal Affairs Department.
- Smaraki Mahapatra (IAS:2002:WB), Additional Chief Electoral Officer, West Bengal, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Mass Education Extension and Library Services Department.
