As the assembly elections in West Bengal is nearing, the Election Commission of India (ECI) posted three new officers at the CEO office in place of three officers who were removed few days back.
Bijit Kumar Dhar, presently special secretary, tribal development has been posted as Additional CEO replacing Saibal Barman. Barman will be taking charge of Additional Secretary in the state Finance department.
Arindam Niyogi, joint secretary Land & Land Reforms, has been posted as joint secretary at the CEO office. He replaces Anamika Majumdar who will now be joint secretary in the state Panchayat and Rural Development department.
Sourav Barik will now be Deputy Secretary at CEO office replacing Amit Jyoti Bhattacharji who will be on special duty at the CMO responsible for monitoring of program implementation and grievance cell. Sourav Barik was deputy secretary at the state Health and Family Welfare.
