WB: Five IAS officers shifted, Roshni Sen posted as ACS, Environment

The West Bengal government on February 19 issued transfer and posting orders for five IAS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Roshni Sen (IAS:1993:WB), Additional Chief Secretary, Consumer Affairs Department with additional charges of Additional Chief Secretary, Fisheries, Aquaculture, Aquatic Resources and Fishing Harbour Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Environment Department with additional charges of Additional Chief Secretary, Fisheries, Aquaculture, Aquatic Resources and Fishing Harbour Department and MD, WBIDC.
2. Khalil Ahmed (IAS:1995:WB), Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Municipal Affairs Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Paschimanchal Unnayan Affairs Department.
3. Neelam Meena (IAS:1998:WB), Director, Institute of Environmental Studies & Wetland Management, has been transferred and posted Principal Secretary, Consumer Affairs Department.
4. Abhinav Chandra (IAS:2001:WB), OSD, Personnel & Administrative Reforms Department, has been transferred and posted as Director, Institute of Environmental Studies & Wetland Management.
5. Sanjay Bansal (IAS:2004:WB), Secretary, Backward Classes Welfare Department with additional charge of Secretary, Paschimanchal Unnayan Affairs Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Backward Classes Welfare Department with additional charges of Secretary, Urban Development and Municipal Affairs Department and MD, WBHIDCO.
