The central government has appointed Vivek Ranjan (IRS-C&IT: 1988), Principal Chief Commissioner GST and CX Zone, Ahmedabad, to the post of Member of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC) against the vacancy dated February 1, 2023. Ranjan will retire from the service on October 31, 2025.
