Senior IAS officer Vivek Kumar Dewangan (IAS:1993:MN) has assumed charge as CMD of state-owned REC Limited. Earlier, he was posted as Additional Secretary in the Union ministry of power. According to a REC statement released on Thursday, Vivek Kumar Dewangan took charge as CMD of REC Limited on May 17. The appointment comes within a week of REC announcing the Ravindra Singh Dhillon, Chairman, Power Finance Corporation (PFC) has been given additional charge as CMD of REC for three months.
