In a significant development, senior IPS officer and Director of the National Crime Record Bureau Vivek Gogia (IPS:1991:AGMUT) has been repatriated to his parent cadre of AGMUT on Saturday. This sudden repatriation has sparked speculation for his next assignment.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to repatriate Mr. Gogia, following a request from his cadre.
There is growing speculation that Mr. Gogia may be considered for very important assignment in Delhi in the coming days.
