Vivek Aggarwal (IAS:1994:MP), Additional Secretary in the Department of Revenue, will continue to hold the additional charge of the post of Director of Finance Intelligence Unit (FIU)-India for another six months.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (17.10.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Revenue for extension of entrustment of additional charge of the post to Mr. Aggarwal for a period of six months with effect from 30.09.2024 or until further orders.
Aggarwal has been holding this position in an additional capacity since December 2022 and has received successive extensions since then.
