Vipul Singhal (IRTS:2008), who was recommended for central deputation by the Ministry of Railways, has been selected for appointment as Director in the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Delhi for five years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (12.02.2025), Mr. Singhal will serve in the post under the central staffing scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Presently, he is serving as Director, Traffic Transportation (Freight & Fertilizer), Railway Board.
