Vilas Sopan Wadekar has been selected for appointment as Chairman & Managing Director (CMD), Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Limited (MRVCL) at a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting held on November 07, 2024. Presently, he is serving as Director (Technical), Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Limited.
He will be appointed to the post of CMD after receiving vigilance clearances and approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.
