Vijay Kumar Singh takes over as Secretary, Ex-Servicemen Welfare Department

Vijay Kumar Singh (IAS:1990:PB) on Monday (19.09.2022) took over as Secretary, Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence. Singh is a Punjab cadre IAS officer having more than 32 years of experience in administration. Before taking charge of Ex-servicemen Board, Mr. Singh served as Special Secretary in the Ministry of Textiles. Prior to this assignment, he was working as Joint Secretary in the Department of Personnel and Training. During his career in Punjab, he has extensive experience of interacting with serving and retired Armed Forces personnel.
