Vijay Kumar Dev (IAS:1987:AGMUT) has been appointed as the Chief Secretary of Delhi. The order of his appointment has been issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on thursday.
He will replace Anshu Prakash, who was transferred as Additional Secretary, Department of Telecommunications.
Presently, Dev is Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Delhi. He has also been Adviser to the Administrator of Chandigarh UT. Prior to his Chandigarh assignment he served as CEO, Delhi.
