Vice-Admiral Atul Anand assumed charge as DGNO

Vice-Admiral Atul Anand, AVSM, VSM assumed charge as Director-General of Naval Operations (DGNO) on Saturday. Vice-Admiral Anand joined the Executive Branch of the Navy in 1988 and served as the Flag Officer Commanding of the Maharashtra and Karnataka Naval Areas before being promoted to a three-star officer and assuming the role of DGNO.
