Vanita Rattan Sharma gets extension as CMD of FCI

Vanita Rattan Sharma (IRS-IT:1994), Executive Director (Finance) of Food Corporation of India (FCI), will continue to hold additional charge of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of FCI for another three months. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (26.12.2024), the competent authority has approved the proposal of Department of Food and Public Distribution for extension of entrustment of additional charge to Mr Sharma for three months w.e.f. 28.11.2024 or till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
