The Uttarakhand government on Monday promoted Senior IAS officer Anand Vardhan (IAS:1992:UK) to the grade of Additional Chief Secretary (ACS). Presently, he is serving as Principal Secretary, Forest and Environment, Excise, Higher Education, Watershed Management, Chief Project Director, Watershed Management and Infrastructure Development Commissioner.
