Uttarakhand govt transfers five IPS officers

The Uttarakhand government has recently transferred five senior IPS officers to new roles.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Amit Kumar Sinha (IPS:1997:UK), Special Principal Secretary, Sports & Youth Affairs; ADGP, CCTNS & Telecommunications and Director, FSL, has been relieved of the charge of ADGP, CCTNS & Telecommunications.
2. V Murugeshan (IPS:1997:UK), ADGP, CID and Director, Vigilance, has been given charge of ADGP, Law & Order.
3. AP Anshuman (IPS:1998:UK), ADGP, Administration/Intelligence & Security/PAC, has been given charge of ADGP, CCTNS & Telecommunications.
4. Karan Singh Nagnyal (IPS), IGP, Garhwal Range has been transferred and posted as IGP, Security (Intelligence Hqrs).
5. Rajiv Swaroop (IPS), IGP, Security (Intelligence Hqrs), has been transferred and posted as IGP, Garhwal Range.
