Upamanyu Basu repatriated to parent cadre

Upamanyu Basu (IRS-IT:1989), Joint Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (28.02.2023), the competent authority has approved the proposal of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying to repatriate Mr. Basu to his parent cadre to avail the benefits of promotion in the cadre.
