UP transfers 7 IAS officers; Prakash Bindu appointed Secretary, Home

In a major administrative reshuffle, the Government of Uttar Pradesh on Friday (March 13, 2026) transferred seven IAS and four PCS officers. According to the orders issued, officers have been posted in several key departments, including Home, Public Works, Public Enterprises, Tourism and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Prakash Bindu (IAS:2009:UP), Secretary, Public Works Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Home Department.
2. Dr. Lokesh M (IAS:2005:UP), awaiting posting orders, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Public Works Department.
3. Mahendra Prasad (IAS:2014:UP), awaiting posting orders, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Reorganisation Coordination Department.
4. Nina Sharma (IAS:1998:UP), Director, Uttar Pradesh Academy of Administration & Management, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Public Enterprises Department and DG, Public Enterprises.
5. Sanjay Kumar (IAS:2002:UP), DG, Public Enterprises, has been transferred and posted as Director, Uttar Pradesh Academy of Administration & Management.
6. Raghubir (IAS), Special Secretary, Department of Religious Affairs, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.
7. Ashish Kumar (IAS:2015:UP), MD, UP State Tourism Development Corporation, has been given additional charge of Special Secretary, Department of Religious Affairs.
