UP transfers 38 IAS officers, 8 Districts get new DMs

The Uttar Pradesh government on late Sunday evening carried out a major bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring 38 IAS officers across the state. The list includes posting of eight new District Magistrates, indicating a significant administrative reset at the district level.

Among the notable postings, Rinkoo Singh Rahee has been appointed as Joint Magistrate in Jalaun. He had recently withdrawn his resignation, which was earlier submitted on technical grounds.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Madhusudan Hulgi, Special Secretary, Chief Minister and Additional Housing Commissioner, UP Avas Evam Vikas Parishad, has been transferred and posted as District Magistrate, Deoria.
2. Samuel Pal N, Managing Director, KESCO and Additional Commissioner, State Tax, Kanpur-I, has been transferred as District Magistrate, Jaunpur.
3. Anand Vardhan, Vice Chairman, Gorakhpur Development Authority, has been transferred as District Magistrate, Mau.
4. Gaurav Singh Sogarwal, Municipal Commissioner, Gorakhpur, has been posted as District Magistrate, Maharajganj.
5. Santosh Kumar Sharma, District Magistrate, Maharajganj, has been transferred as District Magistrate, Firozabad.
6. Rajendra Pensia, District Magistrate, Sambhal, has been transferred as District Magistrate, Muradabad.
7. Ankit Khandelwal, Municipal Commissioner, Agra, has been posted as District Magistrate, Sambhal.
8. Abhishek Pandey, ALRC, Board of Revenue, Lucknow, has been transferred as District Magistrate, Pratapgarh.
9. Shiv Sahay Awasthi, District Magistrate, Pratapgarh, has been transferred as Chief Executive Officer, Uttar Pradesh Rural Road Development Agency, Lucknow.
10. Anuj Singh, District Magistrate, Moradabad, has been posted as Special Secretary, Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh.
11. Abhinav Gopal, Chief Development Officer, Ghaziabad, has been transferred as Vice Chairman, Gorakhpur Development Authority.
12. Ajay Jain, Chief Development Officer, Lucknow, has been posted as Municipal Commissioner, Gorakhpur.
13. Dr. Alka Verma, Director (Administration), Medical and Health Services, Uttar Pradesh, has been transferred as Special Secretary, Finance Department and Registrar, Firms, Chits & Societies.
14. Nidhi Bansal, awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Director (Administration), Medical and Health Services.
15. Dr. Dinesh Chandra, District Magistrate, Jaunpur, has been transferred as Special Secretary, Public Works Department.
16. Pravin Mishra, District Magistrate, Mau, has been transferred as Special Secretary, Social Welfare Department and Secretary, Uttar Pradesh SC/ST Commission.
17. Ramesh Ranjan, District Magistrate, Firozabad, has been posted as ALRC, Board of Revenue, Lucknow.
18. Divya Mittal, District Magistrate, Deoria, has been transferred as Special Secretary, Revenue Department.
19. Chandra Shekhar, awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Special Secretary, Irrigation and Water Resources Department.
20. Neha Jain, Special Secretary, IT & Electronics Department, and Managing Director, UPDESCO, has been posted as Managing Director, KESCO.
