UP: Three IPS officers shifted, Mohit Agarwal posted as Police Commissioner, Varanasi

The Uttar Pradesh government on Monday (11.03.2024) implemented significant changes in police administration, issuing transfer and posting orders for three senior IPS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Mutha Ashok Jain (IPS:1995:UP), Commissioner of Police, Varanasi, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow.
2. Mohit Agarwal (IPS:1997:UP), ADGP, ATS, Lucknow, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Police, Varanasi.
3. Nilabja Chaudhary (IPS:2000:UP), IGP (Provisioning), PAC Hqrs, Lucknow, has been transferred and posted as IGP, ATS, Lucknow.
