UP: Six SPs among 10 IPS officers shifted

The Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday (13.07.2024) issued transfer and posting orders for 10 IPS officers, including six district police chiefs.

The names of the officers and their places of postings are as follows;

1. Rajesh Kumar Singh (IPS-SPS:2011), SP, Etah, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Police Commissionerate, Kanpur City.
2. Shyam Narayan Singh (IPS-SPS:2013), DCP, Police Commissionerate, Varanasi, has been transferred and posted as SP, Etah.
3. Gaurav Banswal (IPS:2014:UP), SP, Training & Security, Lucknow, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Police Commissionerate, Varanasi.
4. Abhishek (IPS:2015:UP), SP, Shamli, has been transferred and posted as SP, Bijnor.
5. Neeraj Kumar Jadaun (IPS:2015:UP), SP, Bijnor, has been transferred and posted as SP, Hardoi.
6. Iraj Raja (IPS:2017:UP), SP, Jalaun, has been transferred and posted as SP, Ghazipur.
7. Ram Sewak Gautam (IPS-SPS), DCP, Police Commissionerate, Kanpur City, has been transferred and posted as SP, Shamli.
8. Keshav Chand Goswami (IPS-SPS), SP, Ghazipur, has been transferred and posted as SP, Intelligence Hqrs, Lucknow.
9. Dr. Omvir Singh (IPS-SPS), SP, Ghazipur, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Police Commissionerate, Lucknow.
10. Dr. Durgesh Kumar (IPS), DCP, Police Commissionerate, Lucknow, has been transferred and posted as SP, Jalaun.
