Uttar Pradesh police on Thursday suspended Noida police chief Vaibhav Krishna after his video got viral of chatting with a women.
A senior UP government official said that the suspension order was issued after report of viral video was issued after report of the viral video was received from the forensic lab from Gujarat.
The forsenic report said that the video has no sign of edit, alteration, medication or morphing.
After the video was made viral, the SSP had registered an FIR on the video claiming it as tampered. But the government had ordered a high level probe into the matter with handing the investigation to ADG and IG of Meerut. A departmental probe has also been ordered against Vaihabh Krishna too by the government.
Meanwhile, UP government has set up a high level three member committee to probe into the charges made by the SSP Noida Vaihabh Krishna against 5 IPS and other officers of the state government.
The three member high level committee will comprise of Director Prosecution HC Awasthi, IG STF Amitabh Yash and MD Jal Nigam Vikas Gothwal. The committee has been given 15 days time to submit its report to the government.
The SSP Noida in his letter to the government on November 26, 2019 had charged senior IPS officers and other officers of corruption in transfer and posting.
The officers charged by the SSP Noida are IPS officers Ajay Pal Singh, Sudhir Kumar Singh, Ganesh Saga, Rajiv Narain Mishra and Himanshu Kumar.
The other officers are Director media in Chief secretary office Diwakar Khare, PCS officers Gulshan Kumar and Rajnish.
