UP: Major reshuffle in police administration; 11 senior IPS officers shifted

The Uttar Pradesh government on Friday (19.05.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for 11 senior IPS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Renuka Mishra (IPS:1990:UP), DGP, SSIT, has been transferred and posted as DGP, Training.
2. Prashant Kumar (IPS:1990:UP), Special DGP, Law & Order/Crime/ EOW has been given additional charge of Special DGP, SSIT.
3. Tanuja Srivastava (IPS:1990:UP), Special DGP, Training, has been transferred and posted as DGP, Rules & Manuals with additional charge of DGP, Special Investigation upon the retirement of Chandra Prakash (IPS:1989:UP) on 30.06.2023.
4. Sanjay M Tarde (IPS:1990:UP), DGP/ADGP, Training, has been transferred and posted as DG, Telecom.
5. Dipesh Jumeja (IPS:1992:UP), ADGP, Waiting for posting, DGP Headquarters, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Prosecution.
6. Sunil Kumar Gupta (IPS:1993:UP), ADGP, Telecom, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Training.
7. Neera Rawat (IPS:1992:UP), ADGP, 1090, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Administration.
8. Ashutosh Pandey (IPS:1992:UP), ADGP, Prosecution, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, SSIT.
9. Jay Narayan Singh (IPS:1994:UP), ADGP, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Police Academy, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Railways.
10. Anupam Kulshreshtha (IPS:1995:UP), ADGP, Traffic, has been given additional charge of ADGP, 1090.
11. S K Bhagat (IPS:1998:UP), ADGP/IG, Building and Welfare with additional charge of ADGP, Railways has been relieved of the charge of ADGP, Railways.
