UP govt transfers 21 IAS officers on new year

On the first day of the New Year, the Uttar Pradesh government carried out a significant reshuffle in the state bureaucracy by issuing transfer and posting orders for 21 IAS officers. While a few officers have been promoted, others have been assigned fresh responsibilities across departments.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Akhand Pratap Singh (IAS:2010:UP), Special Secretary, Election Department and Additional CEO, Uttar Pradesh, has been promoted and posted as Secretary, Election Department and Additional CEO, Uttar Pradesh.
2. Neha Sharma (IAS:2010:UP), In-charge IG, Stamp, has been promoted and posted as IG, Stamp.
3. Monika Rani (IAS:2010:UP), In-charge DG, School Education, has been promoted and posted DG, School Education.
4. Yogesh Kumar (IAS:2010:UP), In-charge Commissioner & Registrar, Cooperative Societies has been promoted and posted as Commissioner & Registrar, Cooperative Societies.
5. Aparna U (IAS:2001:UP), Secretary, Medical Education Department and DG, Medical Education, has been promoted and transferred as Principal Secretary, Revenue Department.
6. Dr Sarika Mohan (IAS:2006:UP), Secretary, Finance Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Medical Education Department and DG, Medical Education.
7. SVS Ranga Rao (IAS:2001:UP), Member (Judicial), Revenue Board, has been promoted and posted as Principal Secretary, UP Reorganisation Coordination & General Administration Department.
8. Naveen Kumar (IAS:2007:UP), Secretary, Irrigation and Water Resources Department and CEO, Prime Minister Agriculture Irrigation Scheme Project Administrative, Greater sharda Sahayak Samadesh Pariyojna, has been transferred and posted as Member (Judicial), Revenue Board.
9. Bhawani Singh Khangarot (IAS:2010:UP), Special Secretary, Revenue Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Finance Department.
10. Arun Prakash (IAS:2012:UP), Special Secretary, Urban Development Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Revenue Department.
11. Ravindra Kumar-I (IAS:2010:UP), Special Secretary, Agriculture, Agriculture Marketing & Foreign Business & Agriculture Education and Research, has been promoted and posted as Secretary, Urban Development Department, State Mission Director, AMRIT and MD, UP Jal Nigam (Urban).
12. Divya Prakash Giri (IAS:2010:UP), Special Secretary, Namami Gange & Grameen Jalapurti Deptt, has been promoted and posted as Secretary, PWD.
13. Krishna Kumar (IAS:2010:UP), Irrigation & Water Resources Department, has been promoted and posted as Secretary, Irrigation and Water Resources Department and CEO, Prime Minister Agriculture Irrigation Scheme and Project Administrative, Greater sharda Sahayak Samadesh Pariyojna.
14. Sudha Verma (IAS:2010:UP), Special Secretary, Women Welfare Department and Secretary, State Women Commission, has been promoted and posted as Secretary, Revenue Board.
15. Renu Tiwari (IAS:2012:UP), Secretary, UP SC/ST Commission, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Women Welfare Department and Secretary, State Women Commission.
16. Rajendra Singh-II (IAS:2012:UP), Special Secretary, Social Welfare Department, has been given additional charge of Secretary, UP SC/ST Commission.
17. Sanjeev Singh (IAS:2012:UP), Special Secretary, Finance Department, has been transferred and posted as Director, Social Welfare and MD UPSIDCO.
18. Vandana Verma (IAS), Director, Backward Class Welfare and MD, Backward Class Finance Development Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Director, Women Welfare and Director, UP Women Welfare Corporation.
19. Umesh Pratap Singh (IAS:2012:UP), Special Secretary, Backward Class Welfare Department, has been given additional charge of Director, Backward Class Welfare and MD, Backward Class Finance Commission.
20. Kumar Prashant (IAS:2010:UP), Director, Social Welfare and MD, UPSIDCO, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Home Department.
21. Sandeep Kaur (IAS:2021:UP), Director, Women Welfare Department and MD, UP Women Welfare Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Finance Department.
